  • Perhaps even more than an almanac of one-liners and Mark Twain quotes, the Bible lends itself to Twitter’s “snippet” model more than any other offline content source.
  • Gospelr is Twitter for Christians to share the good word and share faith based messages.
  • While Gospelr received access to the Twitter API and integrates similarly with Twitter services and applications, let’s hope they haven’t put their faith in Twitters business model or else Judgment Day (tax season) could be quite a wake up call.

Does Twitter, like Jesus, want to build followers or should they adopt the Church’s model and start charging for tech salvation?

The Enterprise Twitter: Yammer

by Jason Wilk on September 8, 2008

  • Yammer launched their twitter like service for companies and co-workers today.
  • Share status updates with your boss and coworkers to let them know what you are working on, where you are, etc.
  • Works especially well for companies with employees on the go or distributed in other locations.
  • Marc Benioff reccomened using Facebook for employee authentication within companies, since the service will be unable to succeed if the wrong people are getting access to private info.
  • Similar to Y Combinator startup, Ididwork

Monetize Your Twitter With Twittad

by Jason Wilk on September 2, 2008

  • Twittad today has launched a platform to let you host and make money off ads on your Twitter page.
  • Submit to them your Twitter name and how many followers you have and they will get back to you with how much they can pay you for an ad.
  • No news on whether these ads will be CPC, CPA or CPM based.

Do you think advertisers will know looking at other’s homepages is not an integral part of Twitter or will this be Twittads’ secret to success?
