- Introducing the Palm Pre. The curvy touchscreen Blackberry killer (because we know it won’t touch the iPhone), has a 3.1-inch 320 x 480 multitouch display.
- As we have said before, it has a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from underneath the phone. Contains an accelerometer for landscape viewing. The phone is running Palm’s all new Nova platform, and also includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3 megapixel camera, all with laptop style power.
- No one has gotten a hands on demo yet, so stay tuned for the important stuff like mail, screen responsiveness, app store, etc. There’s already one downside to the phone, it is exclusively with Sprint for the first half of 2009 with no price tag yet. Just lost one potential customer. Thanks to Engadget for the photo.
- Is there something oddly familiar about that dial screen and the bottom Nav bar?

- Looks like the iPhone is coming to Walmart, but don’t expect anyone to get trampled over the pricetag.
- Leaks have shown the phone to be priced at $197 for the 8GB, dashing previous rumors of a $99 4GB phone coming to Walmart’s shelves.
- Might as well pick up the phone at an Apple store. Anytime you can avoid Walmart its always a plus. It’s like the MySpace of the retail industry — the place generates lots of revenue, but you’d like to minimize your time there if possible.

- YouTube today added new features that users have been waiting patiently for and other stratups have been building around.
- Users can now input metadata like the video’s name, description, and tags while uploading, videos.
- You can also upload multiple videos at once if you have a fast connection speed.
- Lastly, the new YouTube uploader will allow users to upload files up to 1GB in size, a big step up from the 100mb previous limit.
- Viddler and Vimeo tried to capitalize on these features as part of their differentiation from the video giant.
