- MyDebates.org, a site co-launched by MySpace and the Commission for Presidentail Debates, will let people take an interactive role during the approaching Presidential debates (starting with Palin/Biden on Sep. 26).
- Users will be presented an “Issues Quiz,” where they rate the importance of 14 issues (economy, gun control, environment, education etc). Your stances will be compared with those of other Americans, as well as the stated positions of the candidates.
- Your “stance profile” can be embedded on blogs and major social networks.
- HQ streaming video will let you watch the debate in real-time with “Issue Icons” that display whenever one of the major 14 issues is being discussed. After the debate, you’ll be able to instantly jump to the point in video playback where each issue was brought up. Videos are savable/shareable.
- Quick polls will be presented to users throughout the debate, with the results being displayed at the end. Questions may also be submitted that could actually be asked during the debate (submissions open Sep. 25).
