- Joost has flipped the switch on their all flash, ad supported web-based video service
- The content is ad-supported and includes some nice social features but I agree with Schonfeld that it’s too late for Joost to catch Hulu, YouTube, and the rest of the gang.

- One of the most highly anticipated companies of last year (started by Skype founders), has disappointed many on it’s quest to change online TV.
- Their lack of content, quality and users is a tough sell against new competitors like Hulu
Update: Joost is doing more than just a browser plug-in. They have integrated a social network centered around the videos, which provies user status updates, recommendations, ’shouts’ and more.
