Internet backed ventures down 16%

• Venture Capital backed Internet company deals were down 16% this quarter over this time last year to $1B
• 907 total VC-backed deals in Q3, compared to 1,033 a year ago
• The number of Internet deals was 194 in Q3, compared to 221 a year ago, and 251 last quarter 
• This is most definitely a slow dow, but would not scare me away in the event I thought I had a great idea.
