- Google just announced the Dev Channel for it’s new browser, Chrome.
- The Dev Channel provides a place for users to download latest features and various updates.
- As well, users can download the Google Chrome Channel Chooser, which allows users to pick between the Beta and Dev version of the browser.
- The Beta version is more reliable, while the Dev provides the most updated version, along with a few bugs here and there to deal with.
- The Dev version will be updated every 1-2 weeks and users can report issues here.

- Along with the hype that has surrounded the recent launch of Google’s new browser Chrome, a few users have been speaking out about problems with the service.
- Some users are finding that the browser simply stops working after a few hours of usage.
- Others are complaining about a multitude of issues with scrolling.
- Facebook, Google Gears, as well as keyboard shortcut issues have also been reported.

- Chrome is Google’s new open source web browser built with web-kit and integrated with Gears.
- This is Google’s boldest attempt yet to eliminate the need for closed source browsers and operating systems.
- Online applications and gadgets can be launched in their own browser window with the ability to work offline with Gears (email, messaging, chat, etc.)
- Google will also supply an updated homepage that shows recent activity and is a big improvement from iGoogle.
- They have built their own JavaScript engine for faster browsing and stand alone running tabs.
- The browser is currently only available for PC
Update: Features drawing the biggest attention from users so far include faster speeds, downloads area, incognito mode (doesn’t track your history) and an intuitive homepage improved from iGoogle.
Update 2: Google Chrome according to analytics provider GetClicky, claimes that Chrome has already grabbed a 2% market share since launch.
