• Salesforce.com announced a 43 percent increase in third quarter revenues, beating Wall Street’s expectation
• The stock (CRM) rose 10.8 percent in after hours trading to $25.30, up over 5%
• Q3 revenues reached $276M for the period ending Oct. 31, fueled by growth in its subscription and support business.
• Wall Street expectations put estimated Salesforce.com to generate $273.5 million, according to Thomson Reuters.
• King Benioff must be pleased.

• SalesForce CEO Mark Benioff invited Zoho last month to take part in their AppExchange (now renamed Force.com) ecosystem.
• Although Zoho has a CRM offering of their own, Benioff still thought that certain aspects of Zoho could work well inside SalesForce.
• Benioff later retracted his statement and said he could not include them after Zoho hired engineers to initiate the integration.
• Benioff, feeling bad, said that instead he would prefer to acquire them as a consulation.
• Zoho declined and since that day (according to Zoho), SalesForce has been discouraging people from Zoho, specificaly telling them that they cannot extract their data and throw it into Zoho until their contract is over.
• It will be interesting to see how King Benioff responds to the accusations. Stay tuned.

• Oracle has released updated versions of their on demand business applications for the iPhone today at their Open World Conference.
• The apps let business owners view real time analytics for financial trends, leads, sales performance, human resources, CRM, and supply chains all from the iPhone.
• Salesforce.com had previously made its CRM,  applications and Force.com platform available as iPhone apps, but Oracle has been quick to respond and upgrade to thwart off King Benioff.
• Both companies applications are available in the iTunes App Store.
