Steve Jobs Returns To Work

Steve Jobs returned to Apple today, resuming his role as CEO for the first time since he took medical leave in January. “Steve is back to work,” said Steve Dowling, a spokesman at the Cupertino, California-based company. Jobs will work a few days a week at Apple headquarters and the rest of the days he will work remotely from his home.
Jobs, who is now 54, underwent a liver transplant recently and is recovering well according to his doctors. Having Steve back is already boosting investor confidence with the stock price up slightly in the morning. Many feel that without Steve running the ship, innovation has been lacking at the company, namely the most recent WWDC conference produced few wows compared to the past 5 years. [bloomberg]
