Google SearchMash
- Just when SearchWiki launched to widespread mediocre reviews, we here at tinyComb are asking the question, “why didn’t they test the user feedback of this product on SearchMash“, which has been Google’s test search engine for user interface and ranking changes for some time now.
- Interestingly enough, Google secretly closed the SearchMash doors less than 3 days ago with just the message “SearchMash Has Gone The Way Of The Dinosaur”. SearchMash would have been the perfect place to test out the mass appeal of SearchWiki as it is one of Google’s few major launches in hopes to enhance the user experience of it’s default engine.
- We are still searching for an answer inside Google why they decided to shut down the testing bed.
