Faced With Server and Bandwidth Costs, Torrent Search Engines Turn to Google
by John Jorgensen on November 22, 2008

- At least two BitTorrent meta search engines have chosen to host their sites for free on Google’s App Engine, which allows 500MB of data and up to 5mm pageviews/mo.
- V0rtex and TorrentTab search larger BitTorrent sites like The Pirate Bay and isoHunt.
- Is it just me or is it cool to see Google giving free roam to torrent sites?
