ChaCha Still Hasn’t Paid Their Guides. Terrible

ChaCha is the human powered mobile search engine that actually employs ‘guides’ to answer questions you query through your phone.
In Septmeber I wrote an article about how ChaCha has not paid a dime to the people they promised money to.
I thought the problem had gone away after much criticism against the company, but today I recieved a disturbing comment on the old article. They still haven’t paid their search guides!
User Lily says “I barely became a guide [with ChaCha]. I’m owed $170, just got my card and started to look around for a ‘pay me now’ button. Does it exist? Is it supposed to be there now? Reading all this has got me horrified! Are there any pro-chacha stories?? Should I continue to guide, or is this all a scam? It seems legit, but all I’m seeing is people who are dissatisfied or unpaid!! Help! If anybody can help me, please email me at lilybugme@neomail.com!! Thankyou!!”
Well Lily, I don’t see a pay day in sight for you. This problem has been occuring for months.
What are these ‘guides’ supposed to do?

Hi, I just started and tried to cash out my first pay yesterday using the pay me now. It says that it failed and is not in my account, but it's not in my ChaCha account either. I tried contacting ChaCha, but no answer. I have been trying to reach them (for weeks now) about an issue with accessing the forum and haven't heard back about that either. Does anyone know a better way to get a hold of someone?

i have been a guide for 3 months. i do not have a problem of getting paid. I am no loger getting very many search request. i used to get 5 an hour now it is 5 in three hours. not really worth the time

Jeff isn't a guide, he works for ChaCha. Too angry to be a happy guide who gets paid on time.

Do these "concerned" guides realize ChaCha pays us once a month. Maybe that's their problem.

I'm just sayin as a Guide that I get paid, and these folks with problems do get their issues fixed. I see the forum posts where ChaCha is trying to help the ones with issues. Most of us never have an issue at all.

I Just tried to sign up as a guide, and password and user name would not go through for the learning University, Is this a scam? Seems they ask for your personal info and then you can’t get on to site. When I called cha cha for info on this, I was told to reboot-LOL

I really hate to hear this. I love ChaCha and have so far never had a problem getting paid. It's really discouraging, though, to see that there are still Guides having trouble getting their earned money into their hands. I hope ChaCha gets on the ball with this soon, because I really want to see this company succeed.
