Civil Right Groups Quick To Challenge Prop 8

Today, civil rights groups moved quickly today to challenge Proposition 8, asking the California Supreme Court to strike down the latest attempt to ban same-sex marriage across the state.
Backers of the measure claimed victory Tuesday night with the initiative leading by a 52 to 48 percent margin.
Its a sad day when fundamental rights for humans are denied.
But I guess they are right, our children will be safe now. Hah. What does that have to do with anything?
