FCC Says Verizon’s Alltel Buyout Is A Go

  • The FCC announced their approval of Verizon’s Alltel buyout today.
  • The acquisition comes at a price tag of $28.1 billion.
  • That total consists of $5.9 billion, and $22.2 billion in Alltel debt.
  • The buyout brings 13 million subscribers over to Verizon.
