Snipd Launches To The Public. Cool Tool, But I’m Not Sold On The Rev Model
by Jason Wilk on October 30, 2008

- Snipd, upon adding a bookmarklet, allows users to grab pieces of content from any web page, save it to a profile, where they can come back to it later or share it. You can also gain folowers of people who like what you snip from around the web.
- Simply put, it’s like the ‘bookmark for clips’ meets Twitter
- Their Founder Alex Schliker says ‘beyond advertising, Snipd wants to make money by acting as an instant way to send a web clip to someone’s social network profile or blog’
- Hmmmmmm. I’m not sold Alex. Send me an email with a little more detail to support this.
