Stanford’s New Fund Births Its First Child. Arrington Says Abort

The company, Diffbot, offers a RSS reader and a tool called Feedbeater that creates RSS feeds for web pages that don’t already have them.
Feedbeater, like Dapper and Feedxs, monitors unstructured web pages for new content and structures it in a way suitable for RSS updates.
The startup must have something up its sleeve otherwise it would bbe hard to believe for Stanford to make their first investment in a startup that has a good shot at failing. Arrington says it’s dead in the water already.
