- Break.com and iFilm.com, two amateur video content sites claiming to be ‘entertainment destinations for guys’ have announced 10% layoffs.
- Break.com has showed traffic growth for the year, but claim they have employees inside that tie up money which could be better spent in other areas.
- iFilm, which had the opportunity to be YouTube before YouTube, has struggled since its acquisiton by Viacom in 2005. This round of layoffs may be the their final white flag in their struggle to be something.
