Google Fighting Its Stock Price By Pumping Out New Ad Products

by Jason Wilk on October 8, 2008

  • Google today announced they finally have launched their Google AdSense for game publishers/developers.
  • This is big news for Google who was supposed to launch this last November and encountered many delays along the way involving ad placement accuracy within the games.
  • This is going to be a huge business for causal game publishers like Oberon Media, who may be looking to increase ad deals for their games as opposed to licensing deals.
  • Google as well began their lead generation campaign on YouTube with one click links to buy songs and movies on iTunes or Amazon. (no word on the revenue share)
  • Google plans to release several other ad products in the coming weeks as well, so expect to see happier investors in the next couple weeks.
