- eBay has acquired Bill Me Later, a US online payment company, for $820M + $125M in outstanding options, and DBA, an online classifieds site that’s number 1 in Denmark for $390M.
- Bill Me Later will flesh out eBay’s online payment capabilities by adding to their already large foothold in the space with PayPal.
- eBay has also announced they are slashing 10% of their workforce (around 1,000 jobs).
