YouTube And Their Post Video Ads. Will It Work?

by Jason Wilk on October 2, 2008

  • YouTube looks towards taking a step to profitability by beginning their post video advertisements.
  • The ads are rolling on videos found within channels, so advertisers have an idea of thats user’s video history and the demographic which subscribes to them.
  • NewTeeVee reports, this move is not very innovative by Google, but at least it is not as bad as how MSN videos monetize.
  • As an advertiser, it doesn’t seem like CRM rates will be very high considering the bounce rates of users before that ad is ever seen.
Good idea/bad idea?
