Jaxtr Adds Subscriptions For Web VoIP Calls

  • Jaxtr, the web VoIP calling service with widgets that can be embedded on your social network profile allowing friends to call you, announced premium subscription plans today.
  • 350 minutes @ $2.95/mo, 1,000 mins @ $7.95/mo, and 2,500 mins @ $19.95/mo.
  • Without a subscription, 400 minutes can be purchased for $5.
  • Jaxtr claims it currently has over 10 million members and that it will be profitable by 3rd/4th quarter of 2009.
  • Revenue from subscriptions will supplement their ad revenue.
  • Jangl, a main competitor, closed shop earlier this year.
