- Twitter clones have been popping up left and right since their inception, offering niche versions of the original service.
- Twitter launched their first topic focused vertical with their election page recently. There needs to be more of this, so we can have a Twitter group for movie lovers or Los Angeles restaurant goers, etc.
- Twitter could have even launched an enterprise feature that could have squashed Yammer and Present.ly.
- They recently raised $15m and they could certainly use it to build out group focused sections of the site, or let users build their own. Kind of like a Ning for Twitter, build your own.
- I would love to have a little Twitter feature on tinyCrunch, where I could adjust some character limit settings, add more users, and start to utilize the micro-blogging platform to help improve upon my standalone service.
Will Twitter pull it together or are they still worrying about their ability to stay live?
