- PressPlane is a stealth startup out of Seattle that has caught the eye of some very promising investors.
- They just raised $1.7m from Second Avenue Partners, with individual investments coming from elite individuals that include:
- Mika Salmi (MTV President / AtomFilms)
- Rich Barton (Founder, Expedia / Zillow)
- Alex Algard (Founder, Whitepages)
- and More.
- The concept is CafePress for the business world. Designers mock up templates for things like brochures, business cards, one page sales ads, etc. with on-site input capabilities from the business.
- Orders will be fulfilled by third parties and PressPlane takes a cut
- Sounds similar to Branddoozie.com, but they have been around since May and haven’t been noticed yet.
- The site is still in private beta, so we will keep you posted on a launch.
