Embarrassed Of Your Friends? Try Yahoo’s New Social Network

Yahoo is launching a new social network aimed at high school and college students in India.
Prime demo is 16-24. School and age verification doesn’t seem to scare them.
To ‘virally’ (hate that word now) spread the word, Yahoo has revealed some of the social network’s luring features.
SpotM is the first social network that allows you to make the friends you don’t want to be seen private.
It is also the first to have SMS integration with anonymous chat, which will let users reply via SMS with a private number.
This move seems a bit risky for Yahoo as privacy concerns have yet to hit hard in India like they have in the US. They don’t want to be the one to break that.
