Microsoft Wants To Know, Are You A PC?

by David Heyerman on September 19, 2008

  • Quick off their short term stint with Jerry Seinfeld, Microsoft has launched their newest campaign, “I’m a PC.”
  • Anyone is able to go to the campaign home page and upload a video of themselves explaining why they are a PC.
  • A large video advertisment display is located in Times Square, showing various people’s uploads.
  • The campaign site also has a live feed of the Times Square display, so users can see if they get publicized.

Will this new viral marketing effort re-brand Microsoft in any way?
