Facebook Beacon Back From the Dead

  • Beacon, Facebook’s project that publishses actions users take on outside participating sites to the user’s newsfeed, appears to be making a comeback.
  • The program was made famous last December for ruining any element of surprise for peoples’ Christmas gifts nationwide, and Facebook phased it out after lots of consumer backlash.
  • Blogger/Facebook developer Jesse Stay has noticed signs of life from the program.
  • Currently, CBS looks to be the only participator.
