  • WeBook raises another $5m from Vertex Venture Capital and its existing backer, Greylock Partners Israel.
  • The site provides a platform for authors, writers, and readers to collaborate on writing books.
  • Once a book is completed, the community reads them and votes for which one should be published.
  • WeBook publishes the book and splits the profits 50-50 with the author and major collaboraters of the project.
  • They passed the 100,000 unique visitor mark last month and continue to grow.
