SGN Buys (fluff) Friends

  • Social Gaming Network (SGN) has purchased (fluff)Friends, a virtual pet Facebook application that is enticing users to spend real money on items for their pets like food and dog houses.
  • (fluff)Friends has seen revenue increase by 192% per spender and 143% per transaction since January ‘08.
  • In May ‘08, SGN raised $15 million in a series A round led by ZGrelock Partners and Founders Fund.
  • Since, they have been on an acquisition spree: Esgut, Free Gifts, Nicknames, Oregon Trail and Friend Block have all been bought by the company, establishing SGN as a top player in the Facebook app space.
