Pay for Homework with Student of Fortune

by John Jorgensen on September 16, 2008

  • Student of Fortune is where students can post homework questions and set the amount of money they’re willing to pay for the answer.
  • When another user answers the question, Student of Fortune brokers the transaction and pays her while charging the question-asker.
  • The site has a cash leaderboard to see who’s making the most money.
  • The current leader, “b_h,” has answered 701 questions and earned a total of $12,405 — that’s an average of almost $18 per question.
  • Could be good side income for teachers (b_h has a masters in Math/Computer Science).
