  • PSP and Nintendo DS hardware is optimized for rapid game play.
    • Apple only has sluggish touch screen buttons.
  • PSP and Nintendo DS have killer games from top publishers.
    • Apple has caught the eye of only a few big game publishers and no crowned ‘killer app’.
  • PSP and Nintendo DS users have to go to a store or order games in the mail.
    • Apple has direct downloads with the App store and users can begin playing within seconds.
  • PSP and Nintendo DS have to pay third parties to distribute their games.
    • Apple has no middle man and can pay higher revenues to publishers.
  • PSP costs $170, Nintendo DS $130.
    • Apple devices sell for an average of $229.

Are Nintendo and Sony safe?

    I think Nintendo is a safe. I feel like they have found their niche in gaming. Sony on the other hand is getting better but if they have a larger selection on games they would be much better off.
