Should Twitter & Pownce Be Scared Of Fidj.it?

Fidj.it is a new, micro-blogging tool setting it’s sights on combining unique services from both Twitter and Pownce.
The free service offers unlimited length of posts, as opposed to Twitter’s 140 word maximum.
They also, like Pownce, allow sharing of files and links with a maximum file size limit of 50MB.
The site boasts big future plans integrating SMS updates, other mobile capabilities, as well as an API for application developers.

Do you think Fidj.it has a chance at competing with Twitter & Pounce if they implement their projected plans correctly?
