Itsmy.com Monetizes Mobile Video

by John Jorgensen on September 14, 2008

  • Itsmy.com, a service from German mobile social networking company GoFresh, is integrating user-generated video into its platform — and its getting advertisers’ attention.
  • Itsmy.tv is their video arm, reportedly broadcasting “1000 TV shows/day.”
  • Itsmy.biz monetizes the .tv side by selling multi-second spots, page sponsorships and banners to big name advertisers like Universal, Reebok, Ford and Vodafone.
  • Getting over 100,000 visitors from carriers like Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint with no official tie-ins.
  • Their CPM rate card: UK inventory, £50; EU inventory, 30€; US inventory, $40; and World inventory, $20.
