Google Buys Korean Blog Platform Creator TNC

  • Google has acquired Korea-based TNC according to the company’s founder Chang Kim.
  • TNC has a blog platform used by 400,000 members, including many of Korea’s A-list bloggers.
  • Google hasn’t made many acquisitions in Asia; this is their first in Korea.
  • May be after the technology that TNC’s platform, “TextCube,” is built on. It contains an integrated social network.
