No Need For a Fake I.D, Just Go To Amazon.com To Buy Your Booze.

by Jason Wilk on September 11, 2008

  • Amazon.com will begin selling wine starting in October.
  • Because of interstate regulations, only 26 states will be able to receive deliveries.
  • Wine is getting more popular in the US and is a $30 billion business, but only 7% is sold online.
  • They have not announced how they will prevent minors from receiving deliveries.
  • This is Amazon’s second attempt at the wine industry after their $30m purchase of Wineshopper.com turned out to be a bum.

This is great news for teenagers, but will you go online to buy wine?
