Google Launches GeoEye Satellite

by David Heyerman on September 7, 2008

  • 11:40am today marked the liftoff of Google’s new high-resolution satellite, GeoEye-1.
  • As mentioned a week ago, the satellite will provide the highest resolution satellite imagery currently available.
  • Google Maps will see new imagery within 45-60 days.

As I said before, they can see you in high-definition….are you scared?
