Where Will All The Newspapers Go?

by Jason Wilk on September 5, 2008

  • Newspaper ads down another 16% this quarter to $8.8b in revenue.
  • This is $1.7b lower than where we were last year.
  • Digital ads for newspapers online won’t save them either. Those were down 2.4% from last year, bringing in $777m
  • It will be an interesting next year to see which paper goes down first.

Is this a sure tell sign that we are in an advertising recession?
