Hulu Gets Advanced Premier Screenings

  • To build buzz for upcoming new shows and ones returning for their second season, Hulu will be airing the first episode one week early on Hulu.com
  • This is the first time a network has decided to air shows officilaly online before they premiere on TV.
  • Knight Rider, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck and Life, Prison Break, Bones, House, Heroes, 30 Rock and The Office will all premier a week early.

  • This bold move comes at a time where YouTube and Hulu are neck in neck in profits.

    I think it’s the only time of year before the end of the quarter where they can possibly boost numbers enough to beat YouTube’s domestic revenues. I think it is entirely possible they might.
